What is Quorum in Lok Sabha ?

Quorum

It is the minimum number of members necessary to constitute a sitting of the House. For the Lok Sabha, it is one-tenth of the total number of members or 55 members including the Speaker. The house can conduct business only if the quorum is complete. However, fresh quorum is not required if the House resumes after an adjournment during the day.
