What is Zero Hour in Lok Sabha ?

Zero Hour

The time immediately after question hour and laying of papers and before the taking up of any listed business is popularly known as ‘zero hour’. It starts around 12 noon, and hence the name, which is not formally recognized in parliamentary procedure. To raise matters during zero hour, members have to give notice before 10 am to the Speaker stating clearly what subject they wish to raise and get his permission to do so.
